Dr Joel Haamer receives SIK Research Award

Founder of MicVac, Dr Joel Haamer, has received the SIK Research Award within Food and Biotechnology 2008. According to the SIK web site the prize is awarded to a person or persons in industry working for or who have links with food or biotechnology and collaborating companies, and who, through R&D co-operation with industrial research institutes or universities and colleges, have successfully contributed to industrial development in the food and/or biotechnology sectors. The Swedish Minister for Trade, Ewa Björling, presented the award at the LI/SIK seminar in Stockholm.
